Here is a report from Montgomery County Emergency Services

Around 3:40 this morning, Elliston Volunteer Fire Department and Shawsville Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to a vehicle fire I81 NB at MM 124/8.

EFD Fire Chief arrived on scene to find the cab of a tractor trailer fully involved. Christiansburg Volunteer Fire Dept. was requested for mutual aid. Firefighters were able to quickly knock the fire down prior to it spreading to the trailer!

There were no injuries. Great job!
